Because every chef must be an artist – about

To those of you who don’t know me, nice to meet you, my name is Lyza Tuval. I am an entrepreneur in baking, I teach in a professional and efficient studio and teach baking workshops at the highest level.

The discovery which led me to the field

I have always been interested in baking and I looked with admiration at my mother who prepared pastries and dishes like an artist, but I couldn’t believe that love for food can become a livelihood. My original plan was to study law. Only after a car accident, when my perspective has changed, I decided that life is too short to do something that isn’t part of my heart, and I started to study everything related to baking attentively, quickly and with excitement. Today I have been in the field for more than 10 years.

My understanding of the field

Following autodidactic studies on baking i’m finishing a qualification course by a confectionery chef in one of the most known schools in Israel, I knew I found my place. When people in my community began to ask me to do workshops in the field, I understood that my real destiny was not just to create in the field, but to also teach others the secrets of baking.

You and my workshops

I am currently living in the field. I teach the field, I study the field and I feel like a fish in water. My passion revealed to me the world of baking and I reveal to my students the basics and the hidden corners of this world. I feed my students’ curiosity, I teach them how to release their creativity, I support their ideas and teach them not to be afraid of the artist inside them. The passion in me for baking and innovation in the field, becomes their passion.

So nice to meet you… The artist in me

For me, cream is not something you only apply to dry skin and cylinder is not only what you wear on your head.

I have been dealing in baking and confectionery for more than 10 years and I go to bed happy with pastry between my fingers and recipes in my head.

I believe that the baking artist is a creator the can renew himself and innovate each and every single day and in my studio in Givat Shmuel I approve this and I share the knowledge, the application and the sensory experience of baking with my students.

The baking Studio

My studio rejuvenates with each student that enters it. Each one of my students has a personal Workstation equipped with a mixer, induction, raw materials and all the required equipment. I teach only in small groups of up to six students so that I can personally accompany and demonstrate to each one of my students.

To summarize… What you should know about me

Everything I teach to the participants in the workshops I have learned myself. I have always been following Trends and improving them, as generations of leading bakers, my tens of thousands of followers and my articles in newspapers and television will attest. I invent all my recipes by myself, even those I teach in the workshop, and I bring a Unique International scent.

My workshops were opened as a result of a need and have continued from a place of love, excellence and my ability to study Global Trends in the field and take them to new worlds in the field of baking.

I’m a big believer in the art of baking and in transferring the passion for baking to everyone who is with me.

Cookies, cakes, savory pastries and decorations are only the beginning…
